About Us
Rubat Nur Tareem was founded in 2024 under the guidance of Al-Habib Abdullah bin Abdurrahman Al-Mehdhar as a centre for religious knowledge in Singapore. Focused on our children as the future of society, Rubat Nur Tareem serves to equip its students with foundational Islamic Education taught in a traditional setting (halaqah) which see its roots from the time of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Amongst the wisdom of the halaqah setting is to remind students to remain humble when seeking beneficial religious knowledge.
Targeted mainly at students from 7 to 16 years old, Rubat Nur Tareem aims to nurture its students to have strong iman (belief) and taqua to Allah SWT. By focusing on creating a strong foundation at a young impressionable age, we hope to create a future generation of youths who remain steadfast in obeying the commandments of Allah and abstaining from His prohibitions. Through ensuring this strong footing, we are able to protect the youths from extremist ideologies as they are clear on the basics of the religion from a young age.
Rubat Nur Tareem is also rooted in developing students to possess praiseworthy character (akhlak) and good manners (adab) by guiding them to emulate the best of creations, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Such traits are pivotal for a harmonious and prosperous society. Ultimately, we hope to develop students who are grounded in the fundamentals so as to provide a stepping stone for them to continually elevate their ranks in the eyes of Allah as they grow up.

Mission
Imparting obligatory knowledge in traditional setting (halaqah) founded upon the 5 core values
Our Values
As a centre which aims to tarbiyah (nurture) the future of society through foundational Islamic education, we are grounded by Al-Habib Ahmad bin Zayn Al-Habsyi's 5 steps to walking the path of Allah:
-
Knowledge (Ilmu)
Acquiring sound knowledge is the cornerstone of understanding and practicing Islam effectively.
-
Actions (Amal)
True knowledge is reflected in righteous actions, hence it is important that we guide our students to practise what they learn.
-
Fear (Khawf)
We cultivate a sense of awe and fear of Allah, encouraging students to remain conscious of their accountability before Him.
-
Scrupulousness (Wara')
We emphasize living with caution and mindfulness, avoiding doubtful matters to preserve spiritual purity.
-
Sincerity (Ikhlas)
Every action and intention should be done purely for the sake of Allah, and we instill sincerity as a core value in our teachings.
